The City Administrator is responsible for independently managing the daily operations of Fort Valley\u2019s government in line with local ordinances, laws, and policies established by elected officials. This role includes organizing and overseeing City Council Meetings, fostering continuous improvements in service delivery, and ensuring the public is informed and educated about government functions, City policies, programs, and activities. The City Administrator also plays a key role in addressing community needs and supports public\/private partnerships to drive long-term economic development and enhance the quality of life.<\/p>\n

  • Making critical decisions to ensure smooth daily operations.<\/li>\n
  • Coordinating and overseeing all city activities.<\/li>\n
  • Leading the development of the city\u2019s annual operating and capital budget.<\/li>\n
